  • Jyutdict: A Pan-Cantonese dictionary which collected a wide range of data on dialectical phonology, vocabulary and possible cognates. (Permanently updating.)
  • Extended Jyutping Scheme: An extended romanisation scheme for Pan-Cantonese based on LSHK Jyutping.
  • Mozilla Common Voice Yue: Publicly available voice data of Cantonese built up by volunteers.

Home

Patía is an artist, writer and linguist, based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

She hails from a Cantonese family in the Gvangjsih Autonomous Region of South China, a tropical area rich in ethnic diversity. From 2015 to 2022, she studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf Art Academy), Germany. 2019 she was nominated by professor Herbert Brandl as Meisterschülerin. 2022 she graduated from the academy, of the class of professor Sabrina Fritsch.

In addition to her visual art, she also writes poetry and stories, translates various materials into her native languages. As a linguist, she collaborates with colleagues on projects such as language preservation, revitalisation and normalisation.
